Thank you everyone who bought our record Mending online, at a show, or at your local independent record store. For those of you who haven't had the chance to pick it up yet you can buy it at any number of places nationwide now. If you don't see it at your local Best Buy or wherever you choose to buy your music just ask someone at the store. If that doesn't work you can email our label: contact@themilitiagroup.com. We want to make it easier for you to get your hands on it so let us know if you can't find it.
If you missed the chance to stream our new record, Mending from Paste magazine's website last week we are now streaming the whole thing over at Purevolume this week. Enjoy!
Tour has begun and our friends over at Absolutepunk.net are giving away free tickets to see us with Alive In Wild Paint along with some previously unreleased songs we recorded just for you. We did an alternate version of This Is My Home and a song by Gillian Welch called Look At Miss Ohio. So take the time to stop by and pick up some free tickets to a show or at least some free songs.

A few things on the radar we wanted to let you know about:
- Our new album Mending is on iTunes for $5.99 through their Next Big Thing campaign, along with lots of other great artists you should check out.
- April 19th - May 11th we'll be on tour with Alive In Wild Paint. You can check our Myspace and find out when we'll be in your neck of the woods.

Hey friends. We're on our way down I-35, headed to Austin for the weekend. Head to our shows section if you're looking to come see us at SXSW. In the meantime, two things...
One: Our CD is finally out! You can order it online through our merch store or you can find it at your local CIMS (Coaltion of Independent Music Stores). Go here for a list of stores in your area.
Two: A few weeks ago we recorded some unreleased songs for Daytrotter which are up for free download now. Make sure and read the article written by Sean Moeller. Probably the most insightful thing anyone's ever written about/for us.

I know. I know what you're thinking. "Great. One more online extension of this band. That's just what I needed. One more website to visit just to figure out what's going on with them." I know.
But it's going to be okay. I promise. Look at this thing not so much as another useless, never-updated, soon-to-be internet fossil. Look at it as a hub for anything and everything relevant to The New Frontiers. A sort of Grand Central Station for yourself. You can come here to find out when we're playing in your town, watch videos of us making fools of ourselves, read our tour journal... whatever.
That said, here's what's going on right now:
- We're on tour with Limbeck and John Ralston, two great bands. So check the dates and come see us!
- We're playing on Oprah! Not really. But one of our songs will be on her channel, Oxygen. You can tune in to The Bad Girls Club on February 19th at 10PM and hear "Mirrors" on the episode.
- For those of you who have been looking for our album on iTunes and in stores, you won't have to wait much longer. Keep an eye out next month.
- We will be starting a street team soon as well. Basically, you can help spread The New Frontiers word and get exclusive content from us in return.
- Finally, make sure to check out the BLOG section of the website as we will be updating it with video and entries as we make our way across America.
